Bone broth
Place some marrow bones in an ovenproof dish with olive oil, an onion and a few cloves of garlic. Put it all in the oven. 200 degrees for about half an hour.
Then put everything in a pot. Here I usually take a little of what I have at home and this time it was a couple of bay leaves, a lemon, some white peppercorns, a splash of apple cider vinegar, salt and some spices that I picked up in the garden. Then I pour water so it covers everything.
Now it's all going to simmer and with me it simmers for a couple of days. I usually make it when I plan to stay home and if I leave the house or go to bed, I turn it off and then I start the cooker again and let it simmer for hours under the lid. When it is necessary to fill up with water, I do so and when I have decided that it will be enough, I bottle it up and store it in the refrigerator. You can use it in cooking, but usually I don't have time until I've drunk it. Super tasty and useful!
