Doris also needs clear endings. (The Karlstad model and the importance of networks part 5)

I am again using the Karlstad model and network in my heading. The reason for this is that we started working with Dori's language development so early. Networking with the school using the karlsta model's methodology and that we have continued to promote cooperation in the network is crucial for Doris' schooling. We adults must invite and work to support the children on their way to empowerment and an inclusive environment. Doris obviously has a great interest in SO and therefore we ride the wave and try to stimulate her on that front. Other things may be more viscous but here we have her favorite area. She finds it easy and finds it a lot of fun. This time it was time for religion and then Christianity. The intention was that Doris would report on this to her teacher, but when the time came, she shut down completely and could barely get anything out of her head. You might think that it would be enough for her to know what she knows and she shouldn't have to suffer through this because her grades might not be that great in the first place, but it's about being allowed to strive, succeed and finish with clarity and dignity.

Once again it was a film, but the difference in this case was that it was decided by us parents and the teacher together that this was how the report should be solved. I think that it is so important to have security and trust in order to succeed in getting the very best out of the small bank of knowledge. How many people with Doris actually have the same problem? A stress and demands that mean that you do not manage to bring out your best. Doris has a sense of humor and that's how you have to flirt with her in order for her to be lifted in a context that is about concentration and performance. In this case, it doesn't hurt that she already has a fabless for Gustav Vasa. Probably because the humor permeated that whole part of the story when she was working on it in middle school. She is happy to return to the old king. Maybe it's because of his sizzling hairstyle and original costume? In any case, this has been the end of this chapter in Christianity and we have found a good accounting form.

There is much to be desired when it comes to inclusion in school and society, and it is probably not optimal for parents to solve what should work and be done in school, but if we don't do it, no one else will either. Let her have a neat and clear end to the chapter to make an elegant entrance into the newest to come. With the right attitude, interest and energy, we catch Doris' attention and we would love to see that others also saw opportunities to give it a chance and thereby grow. By that, I don't just mean our children with or without functional variations, but also those of us with normal disabilities around us. We, Doris' father Björn and I have chosen to post the films with the hope of inspiring parents and school staff to cooperate and alternative ways of working. Link to the movie

I hope you’ll enjoy it though it is in Swedish.
